This characterizes the HAMBURG ancora YACHTFESTIVAL in a perfect setting: With a great ambience in the 5-star ancora Marina in Neustadt in Holstein, highly interested visitors and satisfied exhibitors, last year's comeback was convincing. In its 14th edition, Germany's largest in-water Boat Show will increase the euphoria for the future from May 12 to 14, 2023. It will be a Boat Show in which catamarans will be presented in an unprecedented variance and in which the topic of e-mobility on the water will gain momentum.

Around 180 boats and yachts bring the yachting season to life directly in their natural element, the water. Visitors go on a voyage of discovery to the industry's new products on the boats and yachts at the pontoons in ancora Marina, experience expert advice in the 80 pagodas and get inspired by entertaining infotainment in expert lectures, workshops and demonstrations on 1,500 square meters in the modern exhibition hall.

"There is nothing better than showing the boats in the water," was the unanimous opinion of exhibitors last year, so it is no surprise that the range is wide again this year. The renowned brands such as Faurby, Norship, X-Yachts, Linjet, Shogun, Hallberg Rassy, Dufour, Jeanneau, Bénéteau, Bavaria, Dehler, Hanse, Moody, Winner, Princess, Absolut, Sunseeker, Elling, Linssen, Targa, Nimbus, Marex, Sealine, Axopar, Saxor, Quicksilver, SeaRay and many others will come to Neustadt on the Baltic Sea to open up the North from here.

Six registered catamarans at the pontoons in the ancora Marina will be the magnet of attraction at the Boat Show. With the French company Fountaine Pajot, one of the leading catamaran manufacturers is coming to Neustadt with three boats. Among them, a motor catamaran will be presented for the first time in ancora Marina. Of course, the Lagoon brand, the world's largest manufacturer of sailing catamarans, will not be missing and will provide an insight into its product diversity with two boats. The catamaran from Nautitech will round off the show of luxury travel and open the way to the dreamlike world of water sports.

Emotionality also characterizes the second main theme of the HAMBURG ancora YACHTFESTIVAL: The development of e-motors is making the leap from the road to the water. The higher efficiency of the drives, more powerful batteries and a better network of charging stations are turning the auxiliary power unit on board into a fully-fledged drive. "At ancora Marina, we are presenting real e-motion boats that open up the world of travel to environmentally-minded water sports enthusiasts with a greater range," says Heiko Zimmermann, Managing Director of YACHTFESTIVAL365 GmbH. E-mobility, hybrid drives and self-sufficient charging via solar modules on board characterize the innovations from Candela Boats X-Shore from Sweden and Greenline Yachts from Slovenia, or even Delphia from Poland, who will be showing the future of yachting in Neustadt. Of course, the pioneers of e-drives and generators from Torqeedo, Fischer Panda, E-Propulsion and Temo from France are also represented.

After the comeback last year, the HAMBURG ancora YACHTFESTIVAL will be a show of innovations and emotions this year.

The exhibition area of the yacht festival at the 5-star ancora Marina in Neustadt/H. will be open from Friday, May 12, to Sunday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Around 180 exhibitors will present their yachts at the jetties, in 80 pagodas and in the 1500 m² exhibition hall. The Yacht Festival is the meeting place for those interested in water sports, who can enjoy a relaxed day in the harbor and on the beach with great insights into yacht life style and delicious food and drink on the Bay of Lübeck.
