Wir, die Mitarbeiter des Piraterie-Präventionszentrums (PPZ), beraten deutsche Segler bei Passagen durch piratengefährdete Gebiete und liefern aktuelle Gefährdungshinweise zu Piratenangriffen weltweit. Zu seinen Kernkompetenzen zählen die Erstellung von Gefährdungsbewertungen und Lagebildern zur segelyachtspezifischen Kriminalität sowie die Ausarbeitung konkreter Handlungsempfehlungen. Ergänzt wird seine Arbeit durch Workshops, Monitoring und die kontinuierliche Betreuung weltweit aktiver Langfahrt- und Weltumsegler.

WHAT

Water is an extremely thermally conductive medium,

It is not for nothing that engines are cooled with water.

People cool down up to 27 times faster in water than in air.

So if you have problems getting a MOB back on board, "temporary parking" in the life raft can significantly increase the chances of survival.

The most important thing is that man comes out of the water.
