WHAT

This live lecture is about the sails for the way to leeward. Depending on the wind conditions, we set the gennaker, code 0 or spinnaker on the boat directly at the jetty.
Modern boats and rigs offer many different types of foresails for the space sheet course. Oliver Ochse explains on a boat live in the water which sail makes sense when and what needs to be considered.

WHAT

We look at the sail trim live on the sailing yacht. We trim the headsail or mainsail according to the wind conditions. Sail profile, hollow point setting, sheet tension and, in the case of the mainsail, traveler, boom vang and backstay. Understanding and using the standard trim elements.

We look at the sails on the boat live at the jetty. Depending on the wind conditions, we will look at the trim of the jib and mainsail. A lecture on the trim of the foresail and mainsail.
