Welcome to the HAMBURG YACHTFESTIVAL, the new in-water boat show in Hamburg! Under the motto "BOATING! LIVE!" we cordially invite you to experience the exciting boating sport up close.
The Hamburg marina in Wedel on the Elbe, Germany's largest sports boat harbor, will become the new community meeting place in September for boating enthusiasts from Hamburg, the Elbe and the North and Baltic Seas: Here you will have the unique opportunity to discover yachts and boats up close in their element.
Our festival offers an unforgettable experience for the whole family: dive into the world of boating and enjoy a great weekend full of joy and enthusiasm. Let yourself be inspired by the elegance of the yachts and the fascination of water sports.
You can expect exciting exhibitions, live demonstrations, informative lectures and a variety of activities around the topic of yachts & boats. Experienced professionals will be on hand to answer your questions and give you valuable tips.
Come along, Friday to Sunday, September 6-8, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.: Get good tips, listen to exciting presentations and test boats and equipment. Family and friends welcome, admission free!
In the evening from 7pm: When the sun slowly sets, our event stage in the harbor turns into a join-in & party zone and several cool events await euc:h in the evening. Event region
ARRIVAL
By train
Take the train to Hamburg main station. There change to the S1 to Wedel. From the station our bus shuttle will take you to the Hamburg marina and back ( € 2,- per ride). Children up to the age of 14 travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
If you want to get some fresh air, you can walk the 2 km to the marina.Coming from the train station straight ahead along the Gorch-Fock-Straße follow. This becomes the street At the open-air swimming pool and later into the Lüttsandsdamm road. At the end turn right into the Deichstraße and you will reach the Hamburg marina.
By car
Freeway A7, take exit Bahrenfeld and from there follow the B431 to Wedel. Turn left into Bahnhofstraße, turn right into Gorch-Fock-Straße and keep following the road (becomes Am Freibad and later Lüttsandsdamm). From Lüttsandsdamm turn right into Deichstraße until you reach Hamburger Yachthafen.
Parking is available directly on site at the Hamburg marina in Wedel. A day parking ticket costs € 5,-.

And the most beautiful form of arrival by boat is of course also possible! As usual, please coordinate with the harbormaster for berths.
